Effective August 31, 2026
The short version: ClearPath collects no data about you. None. Your financial information stays on your devices and in your personal iCloud account, where we cannot see it. There are no analytics, no ads, no trackers, and no third-party SDKs in the app.
ClearPath Finance ("ClearPath") is developed by NourAIsh Software. This policy covers the ClearPath Finance app for Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
Nothing. ClearPath has no servers, no user accounts, and no analytics. We never see your transactions, balances, budgets, or anything else you put into the app. The App Store privacy label for ClearPath reads "Data Not Collected" because that is literally how the app is built.
ClearPath never asks for your bank credentials and never connects to your bank or any financial aggregation service. To bring in transactions, you export a file (CSV, QFX, or OFX) from your own online banking and open it in ClearPath. The file is processed entirely on your device.
If you set up an account in a currency other than your display currency, ClearPath fetches daily reference exchange rates published by the European Central Bank (via frankfurter.app, a free public service). The request is anonymous — no account, no identifiers, and none of your financial data is sent; it is an ordinary web request that asks only for the day's public rates. If all your accounts use one currency, this request is never made. Prefer no network activity at all? You can pin exchange rates manually in Settings and ClearPath won't fetch anything.
ClearPath's insight and categorization features run entirely on your device — on Apple's on-device intelligence frameworks and on plain arithmetic over your own data. Nothing is sent to us or to any cloud AI service, and ClearPath has no setting that would send your financial data to an outside model. Screenshot import likewise uses Apple's on-device text recognition; the image never leaves your device.
Backups you create are encrypted on your device with a password you choose before they are written anywhere; we cannot read or recover them. CSV exports are plain, unencrypted files created at your request — treat them with the care financial records deserve.
The one-time unlock purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details. Apple provides us no personally identifying information about buyers.
ClearPath is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Because the app collects nothing, we expect changes to be rare and cosmetic.
