Turning Over a New Leaf: NourAIsh Is Now PureLog

Same app you trust, same team, same data — with a sharper name and our biggest update yet. Meet Sage, say hello to Memory, and get a daily Gut Check that actually names names. Here's what changed, and what didn't.

The leaf on your home screen looks a little different today. NourAIsh is now PureLog. Same app, same private-by-default approach, same small indie team behind it (still NourAIsh Software on the legal fine print). We just turned over a new leaf — and shipped our biggest update yet while we were at it.

Why "PureLog"?

A good name should be easy to say, easy to spell, and honest about the job it does. "PureLog" is exactly that: clean, no-nonsense tracking — pure signal, no clutter. The mission hasn't changed one bit. Helping you understand what you eat, on your terms, has always been the whole point.

Meet Sage

Your nutrition partner finally has a name. Chat with Sage to brainstorm meals, log what you ate in plain language — "two fried eggs on toast" — or snap a photo and log each food it finds. Ask a question, get an answer tailored to your goals. You're always in the driver's seat; Sage just rides shotgun with the map.

Memory — and you hold the keys

Sage can now remember the things that make your plate yours: your tastes, your dislikes, your allergies, your kitchen. The more it knows, the more personal its suggestions get. And because it's your information, you can see and edit everything it remembers, anytime.

Nothing hidden: Your Memory lives on your device, and the list is yours to review, add to, or clear out whenever you like.

A Gut Check that names names

Your end-of-day recap used to tell you "sodium ran high." Helpful — but then what? Now it goes a step further: "sodium ran high, mostly from the soy-glazed chicken." Specific, and computed straight from your diary instead of guessed. It's the difference between a weather alert and an umbrella.

Apple Health, both ways

Share your nutrition out to Apple Health, or pull meals you logged in other apps back into PureLog. Your call, and you choose which sources to trust.

What didn't change

The important stuff stays exactly where you left it. Your entries, recipes, vitals, and settings carry over untouched. PureLog is still private by default, still works without an account, and the subscription is unchanged. Same roots — just fresh growth.

Welcome to PureLog

Thank you for being here since the NourAIsh days. Open the app, say hello to Sage, and take a look around. We think you'll like what's grown.
