Something big is coming to NourAIsh — a major update dropping soon

We've been quietly working on something we're genuinely excited about — and it's almost ready. The next NourAIsh update is the biggest one yet, and it changes what the app can do for you in a pretty fundamental way. Here's a first look at what's coming.

For a while now, NourAIsh has been very good at one thing: helping you see what you eat. This update keeps all of that — and adds something new on top. NourAIsh is about to get personal.

Meet NourAIsh AI Memory

The headline feature of this update is NourAIsh AI Memory. In short: NourAIsh AI can now remember things about you.

Your allergies. The foods you'd rather never see again. How you actually eat — vegetarian, halal, low-sodium, whatever's true for you. Your household and your kitchen setup. Once you've told NourAIsh, it remembers.

That memory shows up everywhere it matters. Chat answers become more relevant. Your daily and monthly reports feel like they were written for you. And food analysis will flag an ingredient you're allergic to before it ever lands in your diary.

Setting it up is easy. A friendly card on your dashboard walks you through it — or you can simply describe how you eat in your own words, and NourAIsh turns that into clear memories you review and approve before anything is saved. It also learns as you go: mention something lasting in chat and it's quietly noted, and log a food often enough and NourAIsh offers to remember it as a preference.

Everything stays on your device, every memory is viewable and editable, and it all travels with your backup. You're always in control. NourAIsh AI Memory is a Premium feature.

NourAIsh Chat, Reimagined

Chat got a serious upgrade — and it's now one of the fastest ways to log a meal.

You can attach a photo right inside the conversation. Snap your plate, add a caption like "I had this for lunch at 1pm," and NourAIsh AI identifies each food and logs it — photo and all. Prefer to talk? Tap the mic and dictate your question instead of typing.

When NourAIsh logs something from chat, a tappable "Food log" card now appears under the reply, so you can fine-tune the portion without leaving the conversation. Multi-item meals can be combined into a single tidy diary entry. And chat now logs meals at the time you actually ate — say "1pm" and that's when it lands, not whenever you hit send.

A Dashboard That Fits You

Your home screen should look the way you think. Now it can.

Rearrange your Today's Summary tiles with a simple long-press and drag — right on the dashboard, no menus required. And every section of the dashboard can be reordered or hidden until the whole screen reflects what matters most to you. New to NourAIsh? Your dashboard now starts with the nutrients that match your health focus, so it's useful from day one.

Your Movement Joins the Picture

NourAIsh has always cared about what goes in. Now it sees what you put out, too.

With Apple Health, your steps and workouts appear across the app — a new Activity section on the Health tab, with detailed daily and weekly charts a tap away. Even better: when you work out, your calorie target for the day adjusts to the energy you actually burned, so the numbers reflect real life.

Gut Check Recaps Your Yesterday

For NourAIsh Premium, the dashboard's Gut Check card becomes a short, friendly recap of how yesterday actually went — written fresh each morning from your meals, your goals, and your activity. It celebrates the wins and gently flags anything that ran high. No lectures, ever.

BMI at a Glance — and Weight on Your Terms

Your latest weight now carries a colour-coded BMI pill, with a full breakdown and reference ranges just a tap away — and BMI now appears in your monthly health reports and healthcare-provider shares too.

Prefer to keep that number to yourself? A new setting blurs your weight on the dashboard and the vitals screen until you press and hold to reveal it — handy if you'd rather it not be visible at a glance.

And Dozens of Smaller Touches

Beyond the headline features, this update is full of small refinements that add up to a smoother everyday experience:

  • A clearer Recipe Builder with simple Quick and Detailed modes.
  • One-tap "Log Again" — re-log a food instantly, no extra confirmation.
  • Pasted recipes now read ½-style fractions correctly, so ingredient names come out clean.
  • A more reliable chat that handles back-and-forth conversation naturally.
  • Cleaner, more consistent portion editing everywhere you log food.
  • Articles and Food Recall cards gently glow when there's something new to see.
Good news: you don't need to do anything to get all of this. When the update lands, it'll simply arrive the next time your apps update.
